About this API

The European Central Bank publishes, via an SDMX 2.1 RESTful web service, the full range of its statistical data — from reference euro exchange rates (the same ones shown on the ECB's site every business day) to monetary-policy interest rates, inflation indicators, and euro area monetary aggregates.

No — the service doesn't return CORS headers, so a direct call from frontend code will be blocked by the browser. It needs to be called from a backend or other server-side environment.
