About this API
GCIS (Government Commerce Industrial Service) is the open-data system of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), covering the register of all Taiwanese companies. Data is fetched by company registration number (統一編號). It is the Taiwanese equivalent of the KRS.

Can this API be called directly from a browser?
Not directly — this endpoint does not return a CORS header (or requires specific query parameters), so it is called server-side (which is why there is no live "Try it" button here).
